คุณสมบัติที่จำเป็นและวัสดุสำหรับสร้างประตูระบายน้ำหรือFlood Gateที่ทนการกัดกร่อนสูง
A Flood Gate is a structure in a waterway area that is used to control the flow of water in rivers, canals, lakes, weirs, reservoirs. The drain gate is used to adjust the amount of water that needs to flow through. Adjust the speed of water, or use it to store water. At the same time, the sluice gate also provides protection in case of storms or floods.
The required features are that they must be strong, durable, and not rust-resistant, resistant to corrosion and weather changes. The shape and depth of the waterway must have smooth movement and an effective control system. It must have a low leakage rate and must be able to resist pressure or high water pressure. Simply put, the sluice gate acts like a dam.
There are many types of steel grades that are popular in the construction of sluice gates, depending on the application and the standard required. The drain gate is made of cast iron, ductile steel. Here we introduce the so-called cor-ten grade corrosion resistant steel and ABS grade high tensile steel grade EH36, S355, SM490A.
Cor-ten steel is steel with high corrosion resistance with a reddish-brown color or rust color caused by the formation of rust on the steel surface. This prevents corrosion from entering the deep layers of steel.
Cor-Ten steel is useful in the manufacture of drain gates because it is strong, durable, and does not require frequent painting or maintenance, reducing maintenance costs and time. This type of steel is widely used in Thailand's irrigation system.
In addition to using corrosion-resistant steel called Cor-Ten to make the drain gates, the We can also use other types of steel that are high tensile steel to build, and they are stronger and more durable than SS400 steel or soft steel. This type of high-tensile steel has a tensile strength of not less than 350N/mm2. These types of steel include ABS EH36, S355, SM490A (many of you may be familiar with ABS EH36 grade steel used in the construction of ship hulls). It tolerates high pressure and high water pressure very well.
